Do you know how much it is costing me to get the President to promote vacation rentals?

Hey people! There are big changes going on here and I just want to put your minds at rest about something.
If you are not in the Reunion Resort Program or if you are thinking of leaving it, you will definitely be able to start getting some revenue in on your property. We successfully book out and manage homes in Reunion and we can do the same for you.
Contact me or my beautiful wife and we will talk you through the process. We won’t give you false promises and make up figures and you can contact our current owners for referals.
I love Reunion and guests love Reunion, together we can get you feeling the love too!
The boys and I had the best weekend at Banana River Resort.
It is not often I recommend something (At least not without getting paid for it
) but this place is just awesome. It is run by Girard Middleton of Sobesurf and whether you are just booking a single lesson or staying for a few days you are going to have the time of your life.
Just kick back, relax and enjoy. Two thumbs up!
Well, May’s challenge ended in abject failure. I still can’t Waltz or Rumba but am I too upset about it, not really.
This failure has pointed out to me a flaw in taking on that challenge in the first place: I really wasn’t interested in it and didn’t think it would improve my life particularly.
So, unless I really care about something I am not going to make it happen. I knew this beforehand but thought that a little discipline would see me through. Anybody who knows me would have told me I was mistaken as discipline just isn’t high on my skills list. I was doomed to failure right from the start.
So, lesson learned, there is no point in me taking on any challenges that I believe will not benefit me or the people I care about.
On to July.

I love the blog ZenHabits, it is about simplicity and lifestyle changes. The whole ‘challenges ‘ idea I have been persuing was inspired by it’s editor Leo Babauta.
Anyway, a guest contributor to the site wrote a piece titled ‘How To Stop Acting Like Such a Big Baby’ and this is the inspiration for July’s challenge. Go ahead and read it and then you will understand why I am going to spend this month trying to not complain for 21 days straight.
I started yesterday and it is amazing how many little things I can complain about in the day, but no more baby. This month I am going to be a font of positive joy and happiness.
Why don’t you try it too? Let me know if you do.
My alter ego VRBooker just can not help giving vacation rental deals to die for! Just check out this house and tell me why you aren’t going to book it.
He’s great that VRBooker.
As I promote a great vacation rental in Highlands Reserve (It sits alongside the 18th fairway) I thought it might be a good idea to go and try out the course. Guests who stay in the home get a small discount when playing.
From the course website:
This championship Mike Dasher design gives you pine tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Orlando with citrus trees along the countryside. Large, fast, undulating greens make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club was nominated by Golf For Women Magazine as one of their 50 top courses for 2002. Rated 3.5 Stars by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” guide, Golf Pac, one of the country’s largest golf vacation travel companies, ranks Highlands Reserve as one of their most requested golf courses year after year as chosen by their customers.
My decision to play here was encouraged somewhat by the great discount I got by booking the tee time via Golf 18 Orlando. This was important as I was playing with a Scotsman and you know what they are like.
You can’t sniff at $35 including cart now, can you?
Anyway, the course is very un-Florida like and feels almost British in a slightly shabby, more natural way. It was a shame that the greens had obviously suffered from the extended dry spell we have had here. If they had been greener then this, combined with the open fairways really would make this an ideal course for a beginner like me.
If you play here you will not be astounded by the facilities or by the course particularly, but if you are looking to spend a few hours having a good time at a really friendly club then Highlands Reserve will be just the job.
I must also make a special mention for Kim who was on one of tees collecting money for charity. She was doing a sterling job and a browner woman you are never likely to see. Thanks Kim, you were tops!
